iPocketDock is a fully local remote control application:
- No Servers: Does not connect to any remote servers
- No Data Upload: All data is transferred only between your device and Mac
- End-to-End Encryption: Device communication uses encrypted protocols
Permission Details
Required Permissions

Bluetooth Permission
- Purpose: Discover nearby Mac devices
- Data Processing: Used only for device pairing, does not collect Bluetooth information

Local Network Permission
- Purpose: Communicate with Mac on the same Wi-Fi network
- Data Processing: Used only to establish local connections
Optional Permissions
- Notification Permission
- Purpose: Display connection status and disconnect alerts
- Data Processing: Notifications generated locally, not sent to servers
Data Storage
- Device Pairing Information: Stored in encrypted local storage on the device
- Preference Settings: Stored in the app sandbox
- Connection History: Can be deleted anytime in the app
Third-Party Services
iPocketDock does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only system service used is:
- Apple Bonjour: System-level device discovery service, runs only on local network
Your Rights
- Delete the app anytime to clear all data
- Revoke any permission in system settings
- Clear connection history in the app
