1. What Information We Collect
By default, our goal is not to collect users’ personal information. Unless necessary for core functionality, Pocket Series Apps will not send user data to our servers or third parties.
No Collection Mode
Pocket Series Apps process all content information locally on the device, without collecting, uploading, or transmitting any personally identifiable information (PII).
Minimized Collection Mode (if applicable)
- Account Information: When login/subscription is required, we only collect email/Apple ID-associated anonymous identifiers
- Usage Data: Only collect crash logs/minimized analytics data, which can be disabled in system settings
- Sync Data: If iCloud/CloudKit sync is enabled, data is encrypted and stored under the user’s Apple account only with user consent
2. How Data Is Used
- Local Processing: Data processing (such as recognition, conversion, generation, indexing) is completed on the device
- Limited Purpose: Data is used only for purposes necessary to implement core functionality
- No Secondary Use: User data is not used for profiling, advertising, or purposes unrelated to the above
3. Permissions & System Interfaces
To implement specific features, Pocket Series Apps may use the following permissions/frameworks with your authorization:

You can manage permissions and revoke authorization anytime by going to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security or Settings > Pocket Series Apps.
4. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
Default: No third-party advertising, cross-site tracking, or analytics SDKs. We do not sell, rent, or exchange user personal information.
If third-party services are necessary:
- Crash Analytics: Apple’s built-in crash logs/self-hosted analytics, containing only minimized technical data
- Payment: Apple’s In-App Purchase (IAP), payment information is processed by Apple, we cannot access complete payment details
- Cloud Sync (optional): iCloud/CloudKit provided by Apple infrastructure, data is protected by Apple account and encryption
If new third-party services are added in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent when necessary.
5. Data Storage & Security
- Storage Location: Data is saved locally on your device by default; if iCloud is enabled, sync copies are saved in the cloud space associated with your Apple ID
- Encryption & Protection: System-level encryption and sandbox mechanisms are used where feasible; sensitive local data can be further protected with device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID
- Data Retention:
- Local data: Managed and deleted by you
- Cloud copies (if enabled): Follow iCloud sync policy; you can manage and delete in device/system settings
6. Children’s Privacy
Unless otherwise stated, Pocket Series Apps are not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and will not actively collect children’s personal information. If you believe we have collected children’s information without parental consent, please contact us via the contact information at the end of this policy, and we will address it promptly.
7. Cross-Border Transfer (if applicable)
In “pure local/iCloud only” mode, we do not actively transfer data to our servers. If data flows between Apple’s global infrastructure due to your enabling iCloud, such transfer follows Apple’s privacy and data protection measures.
8. Legal & Compliance
We are committed to complying with applicable laws and regulations within the scope of application, including but not limited to:
- GDPR (EU/EEA): If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing

- Only proceed after obtaining explicit consent via App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
- Separately disclose in that app’s privacy policy and provide opt-out options
10. Third-Party Links
Pocket Series Apps may contain links to third-party websites or services. These third parties have their own privacy practices; we recommend reading their privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties.
