1. Scope

This policy applies to FenVoice, also called 分声, provided by iPocket Studio for iPhone and iPad. It covers voice samples, text, generated audio, local speech resources, purchases, and support you initiate.

FenVoice requires no iPocket account, includes no advertising or third-party behavioral analytics SDKs, and does not track you across apps. Recordings, imported audio, scripts, and generated audio are processed and stored on your device. FenVoice does not upload this content to a server. You choose when to export or share. iPocket does not use this local content for server-side model training.

Visiting this website is separate from using the native app. Website hosting, traffic measurements, cookie choices, and the website contact form are covered by the iPocket website privacy policy. Website analytics cannot read your app’s voice library or work.

2. Local voices, scripts, and work

When you record or import a voice, the app stores the sample and related information such as its name, reference text, language, and duration on your device for preview, management, and local voice cloning. Reference text may be entered by you or produced through on-device speech processing.

The app also stores drafts, selected voices, languages, speaking speed, generated work, and projects created from EPUB, TXT, or Markdown documents, including chapters and generation progress. This supports continued editing, resuming unfinished generation, playback, and export. Preferences, onboarding state, and model download state are also stored locally.

You can delete voices, work, and document projects in the app. Copies already exported to Files, email, other apps, or recipients’ devices are not automatically removed when you delete content in FenVoice.

3. Microphone, selected files, and on-device transcription

The app requests microphone permission only when you choose to record. You can decline or revoke it in system settings. This affects recording and does not require unrelated permissions.

Importing uses the system file selection interface to access the audio or document you select. The app does not scan or automatically read all your files. If a selected source is in iCloud Drive or another file service, the system and that service may need a connection to retrieve it. This is separate from an upload by FenVoice.

Reference transcription and supported generated-audio checks use Apple’s on-device speech processing. Language resources may need to be downloaded first, and availability depends on the device, operating system, and language. FenVoice does not send your recordings or scripts to a cloud transcription service when local resources are unavailable.

4. Model downloads and network requests

Speech models run locally. First use, choosing a new model, or downloading a model again requires files from Apple’s model hosting services or the Hugging Face model URLs and delivery services configured in the app. Apple supplies its own speech resources.

Download services receive ordinary network request information needed to transfer files, such as your IP address, the requested resource path, and connection information, under their own policies. These download requests do not include your recordings, imported documents, narration scripts, or generated audio. Model source websites open only when you choose to follow an external source link.

Generation can work offline once the model and required speech resources are ready. Downloads, product lookup, purchases, and purchase restoration may still require a connection.

5. Pro purchases and transaction information

Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase with no automatic renewal. Apple’s App Store and StoreKit handle payment, transaction records, refunds, and restoration. FenVoice reads product information and verified purchase status to provide Pro features.

iPocket does not receive your full payment card details, payment password, or Apple Account password. Apple may provide sales or transaction reports to developers under its services. Deleting local work, removing the app, or requesting deletion of support information does not delete Apple’s transaction records or automatically issue a refund.

6. Storage, backups, and deletion

FenVoice does not provide in-app iCloud content synchronization. Voice library, document project, and model directories are marked as excluded from system backup. This does not mean that every system-managed preference or file you export is excluded. Storage and backup of exported files depend on the location, service, and system settings you choose.

Local content remains until you delete the corresponding entry in the app or delete the app and its data through the system. Removing only its Home Screen icon or offloading while retaining data does not delete the app’s data. You can remove model files in the app’s model management controls; using the model again may require another download.

Export content you want to keep before deleting it, and manage copies on other devices, file services, backups, and recipients’ devices separately. iPocket holds no server copy of this local content and cannot restore or remove it from a server for you.

7. Sharing and support you initiate

Content is handed to the system share sheet, the app you select, or a recipient only after you choose to export or share and select a destination. That service or recipient then manages its copy.

When you start a feedback email, the draft includes the app version, build number, operating system version, and device model to help diagnose a problem. You can review or remove these details before sending. Recordings, scripts, and generated audio are not attached automatically.

If you email support or use the website contact form, iPocket and the relevant email or form services receive the contact details, message, and attachments you choose to provide so we can respond. Support information is retained only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal or security requirements. Contact the address below to request access, correction, or deletion of support information held by iPocket. Content held only on your device or in exported files must be managed there.

8. Your choices and policy updates

You can decline microphone access, use the app without purchasing Pro, keep work private, avoid sending feedback, and manage local files on your device. Use only voices and text you own or have permission to use, and do not send support personal information you have no right to disclose.

We will update this policy and its effective date if our data handling changes materially.
